FFA was born on 2nd February, 1979 in Ghana. Her real name is Fatem Agyenpe Assou-Ekotto. Her parents, Charles Assou-Ekotto and Fatema, are retired engineers who have been living in the United States of America. When Fatema was two years old, her family fled from the country to the United States of America. Her parents later came back to Ghana only to be murdered in front of their house by their own sons. Since then, FFA has been living in the US with her older brother and her family. When FFA was three years old, her family migrated to South Africa where she spent the next four years with her family. There, she acted in various shows and movies. In 2003, she won the Miss World Ghana title. When FFA was malluweb four years old, she accompanied her family to Morocco where she acted in several shows. It was there that she met her future husband, The Reverend Dr. Thomas Assou-Ekotto. Her mother then became the Head of Production and FFA the Second Assistant Soundtrack Composer. After her mother’s retirement, FFA and her family settled in Johannesburg, South Africa.
