Cells make up the human body and are the basic unit of life. The mature human body contains 30-37 trillion cells, based on the number of all kinds of cells in each organ. This number does not include non-human cells or multicellular organisms. Though the majority of the human body is made up of cells, not all of the parts are. Cells are located in a framework called the extracellular matrix, which includes collagen and fluid savefromnet.

The most common chemical compound in the human body is water. Cells are 65-90% water by weight. Other chemical components include carbohydrates, lipids, nucleic acids, and proteins. Proteins contain carbon and hydrogen. Inorganic minerals make up the rest of the body. Other essential minerals include sulfur, calcium, and phosphorus. The human body also contains traces of iodine, copper, manganese, and zinc solonvet.com.

The skeletal system provides structural support and protection. There are two main parts of the skeletal system: axial and appendicular. The axial skeleton consists of the cranium, spine, and ribs, while the appendicular skeleton is the bones in the arms, pelvis, and legs. The total number of bones in an adult body is 206. The circulatory system is another essential component of the human body. It moves blood, oxygen, carbon dioxide, and hormones throughout the body tunai4d.

The human body is highly organized and complex. The cells that make up each part of the body have specific functions. During a normal human lifespan, the human body contains trillions of unique cells that function together to make up a whole body. This structure is called gross anatomy and can be observed with the naked eye or by cutting the body open. Cellular anatomy, on the other hand, can only be observed with special instruments and techniques. Consequently, studying the human body at this level will give you a better understanding of how it works dseklms.com.
